What you will do.
1. Plant Finance Oversight
● Monitor and manage plant-level financial activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and
efficiency.
● Partner with plant operations teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.
● Ensure proper cost allocation, variance analysis, and tracking of operational KPIs.
2. Business Finance & Budgeting
● Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities in coordination with
functional and plant teams.
● Analyze financial performance against budgets, identify variances, and provide
actionable recommendations.
● Develop financial models and projections to support strategic and operational decisions.
3. Month-End Closing & MIS Preparation
● Lead the month-end and year-end financial closing process in adherence with company policies and timelines.
● Prepare and review MIS reports with detailed variance analysis.
● Provide actionable insights to management based on financial performance.
4. Finalization of Accounts & Audit Closures
● Ensure timely finalization of books of accounts in accordance with statutory and accounting standards.
● Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for smooth audit closures.
● Address audit queries, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation.
5. Taxation & Compliance
● Handle Direct & Indirect Tax (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) compliance, queries, and assessments.
● Support in filing statutory returns and responding to notices from authorities.
● Liaise with consultants/advisors to ensure timely resolution of tax-related matters.
6. Accounts Payable Management
● Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) process, including invoice verification, vendor reconciliation, and timely disbursement.
● Implement internal controls to prevent errors and ensure process compliance.
● Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company policies.

The role requires a professional with strong technical expertise, hands-on exposure to plant finance, and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting, reporting, taxation, and compliance responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess an analytical mindset, sound problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to financial management.
