What you will do.

  • Drive sales of imported coal across steel mills, ferro alloy plants, sponge iron units, and industrial clients.

  • Manage existing customer accounts and ensure consistent volumes and repeat business.

  • Identify and develop new customers to expand market presence in North & West India.

  • Track international coal markets, pricing, indices (Platts / GlobalCoal), and competitor movements to build competitive offers.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, ports, and shipping agents to ensure smooth cargo

  • delivery.

  • Handle end-to-end sales process including enquiries, offers, negotiations, contracting, and payment follow-ups.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence updates for internal review.

  • Travel as required for client meetings, site visits, and market development.

What we are looking for.

  • Strong understanding of international markets, landed cost calculations, and import logistics.

  • Good network within steel, ferro-alloy, and industrial fuel-consuming sectors.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, monitor shipments, and resolve client issues proactively.

  • Willingness to travel extensively for customer and port interactions.
