What you will do.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with Ind AS.
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory compliances (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities including Trial Balance finalization and financial reporting.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors, including Big 4, to ensure timely and smooth audit closure.
Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and audit observations with proper documentation and resolutions.
Controllership & Accounting Operations
Oversee the accounting operations of multiple entities/locations, including general ledger review, account reconciliation, and provisioning.
Manage AR/AP operations including aging reports, credit control, and vendor reconciliations.
Conduct General Ledger (GL) and Trial Balance scrutiny ensuring accuracy and control.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and provisioning.
Inventory, Costing & Working Capital Management
Monitor and control inventory movement and valuation across units (e.g., Pune, Jaipur, Indore).
Lead working capital management by overseeing receivables, payables, and stock levels.
Ensure proper FAR (Fixed Asset Register) management and accounting for ROU assets and lease liabilities under Ind AS 116.
Treasury, Banking & Forex
Manage treasury operations, fund flow, and cash flow across group entities.
Handle banking operations including forex transactions, import/export documentation, and hedging strategies.
Establish controls around fund utilization, loan repayments, and interest accounting.
MIS & Process Improvement
Drive timely preparation and analysis of monthly MIS, variance reports, and dashboards for management review.
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and enhance operational efficiency.
Lead ERP/system implementation projects and standardization of processes across entities.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead and develop the finance team ensuring timely deliverables and capability building.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, HR, and other departments for business alignment.
Coordinate with external consultants for compliance, assessments, and departmental queries.
What we are looking for.
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7+ years of post-qualification experience in core accounting and controllership functions.
Strong technical expertise in Ind AS, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory frameworks.
Hands-on experience in inventory control, banking operations, import/export compliance, and financial system implementations.
Proficient in Tally, Excel, and ERP platforms
Exposure to working with Big 4 auditors and handling audit cycles independently.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a proactive approach.
Willingness to travel to multiple plant or office locations as per business needs.
Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while maintaining a detail-oriented and compliance-driven approach.
