Plant Description
Noble Steels, a product of OfBusiness, is one of India's most widely recognised reinforcement steel producers, offering an extensive selection of high-quality Billets, Beams, Channels, Angles, and Sponge Iron. Since its founding in 2004, Noble Steels has expanded rapidly as a producer and distributor of structural steel. We've seen great expansion over the years, and now we're the first fully integrated mini-steel plant in all of South India. In the states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Puducherry, we have established ourselves as the market leader. At our plant in Uthiramerur, Kancheepuram, not far from Chennai, we produce direct reduced iron (sponge iron) and are the first company in Tamil Nadu to make steel from iron ore. We produce structural steel in the form of billets, sponge iron, TMT bars, beams, channels, and angles, all in accordance with BIS standards. Our ultimate goal is to play a pivotal role in boosting the nation's economy and building its infrastructure. We aim to become a globally competitive steel company by adopting new technology while keeping quality and maintaining integrity.
What you will do.
As a Sales managers in the steel manufacturing industry should have strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Developing sales plans: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create sales plans and methods to meet company goals.
Identifying new business: Conducting market research and networking to identify new business opportunities and potential clients/distributors.
Building relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients/distributors.
Negotiating contracts: Negotiating contracts and closing business with clients.
Creating sales reports: Creating and reporting sales and dispatch reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Maintaining knowledge: Staying up-to-date on the company's products, road-maps, competition, pricing, market share, and key product differentiation.
Ensuring timely delivery: Coordinating with the teams to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
Will be responsible for achieving the top-line & bottom-line targets. so, as:
1. Brand Building
- Build strong network of Dealers & Distributors, with a long term vision
- Evolving suitable strategies to create Customer Loyalty, Dealer & Distributor Loyalty.
- Plan advertising and promotional activities, including Social Media.
- Product positioning with long term vision.
2. Pricing
- Building a mechanism to track market prices, duly backed-up by a tailor-made database and developing mechanism for price discovery for company's products; Setting up an independent market research team.
- Strategic thinking for higher NSR with higher volume.
3. Team Handling
- Lead a team of sales managers/executives including region in-charges.
- Evaluate, review, analyze and monitor periodic sales reports, potential sales, client base expansion.
- Sales forecasting and sets goals for team accordingly.
4. Coordination
-Coordination with various functional heads at plant and head office for timely execution of orders and financial closure of deals.
-Possess in-depth product knowledge of our product range and be able to identify product opportunities.
-Present, promote and sell company products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
-Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
-Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas.
-Analyse market’s potential, track sales and status reports
-Supply senior management with reports on customer needs, potential problems, competitor activities and potential for new products and services.
-Keep abreast of best practices and market trends.
-Be familiar with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
-Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
-Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
-Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
