What you will do.
Supervision & Operations: Take charge of all mechanical activities, monitor critical equipment (furnaces, cranes, pumps, conveyors), and ensure smooth shift operations.
Maintenance Management: Plan and execute preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance; support shutdowns; and ensure availability of critical spares.
Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and train shift maintenance teams, technicians, and contractors.
Safety & Compliance (HSE): Enforce strict HSE standards, manage safety protocols, and coordinate statutory inspections.
Production Support: Coordinate with operations to maintain optimal production, troubleshoot issues, and support emergency services.
Reporting: Maintain shift logs, maintenance records, and daily reports.
What we are looking for.
Mechanical Engineer with 5–6 years experience in SMS
Strong knowledge of furnaces, cranes, pumps, conveyors
Hands-on in preventive & breakdown maintenance
Experience in leading shift teams & contractors
Good understanding of HSE and safety compliance
Able to coordinate with production and handle shift operations
