What you will do.
Operate the weighbridge system to record accurate weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
Ensure proper vehicle positioning on the weighbridge before weighing.
Verify material details such as TMT bars, scrap, billets, or finished goods as per documents.
Generate and maintain weighment slips, challans, and gate passes.
Match weighbridge data with invoices, delivery challans, and ERP entries.
Maintain daily weighment records and reports without discrepancies.
Coordinate with security, dispatch, and warehouse teams for smooth vehicle movement.
Monitor and report any weight mismatch or irregularity immediately to supervisors.
Ensure calibration and basic maintenance checks of the weighbridge.
Follow safety, compliance, and company procedures at all times.
What we are looking for.
Basic knowledge of weighbridge operations and weight measurement processes.
Ability to handle digital or manual weighbridge systems accurately.
Attention to detail to avoid weight, entry, or documentation errors.
Understanding of invoices, delivery challans, gate passes, and material movement.
Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and record maintenance.
Honesty and integrity in handling weight records and transactions.
Ability to coordinate with drivers, security, dispatch, and warehouse teams.
Willingness to work in shifts as per plant or yard requirements.
Awareness of safety procedures and compliance norms in a steel plant environment.
Prior experience in steel, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
